My Therapeutic Approach

I am very passionate about understanding what makes people thrive. I take pride in having embraced a wide variety of positions available to a psychologist. From all of my knowledge, background, understanding, experience and training, I have developed a unique therapeutic approach. Throughout the years, I began to abstain from working diagnostically, as I find diagnosis limiting, enabling and even demeaning at times. I further believe it removes the therapeutic safe space before the session begins, because it starts the session with judgement. We all know the last place anyone needs to feel judged is in their therapist’s office. I would rather find what’s working for you, recognize what’s no longer serving you, and expand your tool box to maintain a better quality of life.
